it will never happen though will it.

perhaps it can't, I was a total slap head at economics.
![tongue ](http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/Smileys/modern/tongue.gif)
My car is currently valued for trade in at say, £10k......I want an 06/07 R32, currently valued (if it were being traded-in at about £13k).....so..in my wee idealised world..I would just pay £3k to the dealer in cash to change over, the stealer then markets my car and gets say £13k, thereby stealer makes £5k...(£3k in cash from me, and £2k from the person who buys my car)..still with me? ...sound good?
![rolleyes ](http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/Smileys/modern/rolleyes.gif)
The Stealer shifts his stock r32 (which he has had for 5 months), still makes good money and I get the car I want...its a win-win situation non?
Nah, in the real world....here's what happens instead.
The feckin stealer insists he wants £17k for his r32, and will give me £9k for my car!

Later, they will then sell my car on for £13k (if they are lucky I will grant you)...thereby potentially making a total of about £9k (if he pays £12k for the R32 in the first place, and makes £5k on that part, together with £4k on mine?). The result I walk away with my money and he keeps a pile of rusting inventory on the car lot.
The greedy b@astards will go hungry unless they change their paradigm......
Ok I have just opened myself up to hoots of derision I know.....be gentle with me.
