Component or Co-Axial?

im a believer of having some sounds in the back apart from sub, i have comps in front and some rockford 6x4s in the rear shelf supports, i find it sounds un balanced otherwise....
i wouldnt go out n spend loads in the rear but id defo have something

can see it from both point of views, never had a balanced sound, my old car was rear only and now this is front only.......i suppose a balance would be nice for a change

What amp are you using for those out of interest?

Its a JVC. I don’t think its as efficient as it could be as it gets quite warm but it still drives them very well and keeps the SQ up the volume.

Just a thought mate. If you do go for 2 sets of comps make sure the rear tweeters are pointing toward the back seats (depending on where you decide to mount them. In the mk4 the standard rear tweeters are built into the rear card next to the door pillar (3dr) facing backwards which imo is good.) If they point towards the front seats the sound staging will be wrong. hope that makes sense.
