yeah i've been corfu myself... several years ago and didn't like it myself. then went to kos... totally the opposite... really lovely... loved it so much that i went back 3 more times

anyway... thought i'd give turkey a go... bit dubious at first... but everyone i've talked to has given it great reviews... so i got myself a 5* hotel in a complex... got everything even its own beach and jetty.

My sister in law and her daughters love Turkey, but then I dont rate their taste!
Sounds as if you are in a top place so usually it dont matter where in the world you are!

Its like we went to Dominican Republic for one of my daughtres wedding and the complex was fantastic in every way. But the country is dark ages!

i knew even as i wrote that... many ppl swear by the isles... but i suppose the fact i went swimming whilst there and got caught off guard by an under currant.... dragged out n nearly drowning myself and some poor bloke who tried to help me... i guess that was all it took to put me off... oh and getting major sun burn !!!   :embarassed:

Yea I have heard a lot about the currents, which is why I have never surfed there. But thats also coz I never wanted the hassle of taking my surf gear!
