Hi,

Would anybody know if these side skirts will fit a gti?

Or if anybody knows of any similar looking ones that would fit then please let me know.

Thanks.

I’d hazard a guess they probably wouldn’t fit. It looks as if they’re attached to the R-specific extended sills which are a different profile to the GTI’s smaller (slimmer) black sill extensions. They’re also advertised as only fitting the mk7 Golf R - presumably for this reason.

Indeed, luckily those monstrosities won’t fit a GTI as they have totally different side skirts to a 7R.
Breathe a sigh of relief

They’re not my cup of tea either, but then we’re all different and like different things .

Yeah, I was only kidding.
The mk7 GTI side skirts as standard are a bit of a disappointment.
I wonder if you can get replica GTI TCR skirts which would bolt straight on and look great when paired with something like an Oettinger rear valance/diffuser.
