I think they mean ‘predictive cruise’

Simply turn off predictive cruise!
Seen in the assist menu settings as ‘reaction to road layout’ & ‘reaction to permitted speeds’
Then simply adjust it manually as it was done in the mk7, apart from being better this way anyhow, it then matters not if it reads the signs as mph, kph or anything else, as it will no longer have any effect on the operation of the vehicle. Then forget about it. 👍
