Hi all
So recently bought myself a mk2 1991 1.8gti 8v, starts no problem but idles high between 1300-2400 then after a couple of Revs it hunts almost cuts out unless revved again. I’ve found one air leak on the right of the throttle body which is where there is a small hose that leads to somewhere in the bulkhead from what I can see
Also when under acceleration it’s stutters bit like if you lift off then slam your foot back down ??
Any advice would be great on where to look and what to do
