Time for tensioner change?
«
on:

Think it is close to change time!! Car on 99k and original tensioner and chains. Phase difference now -2.2 up from 1,98 last year. Anyone any idea of costs these days of labour and parts for tensioner, chains and guides?
Thanks.

Worth watching this link first to make sure your figures are correct.

Think prices have stayed about the same as 1800 often talked about on the facebook pages.

Thanks for the info Snoopy. Used vcds to check the phase angle so I think it is correct and is in line with previous readings. Was not sure what the max reading should be. From the video figures it looks like I might be OK for a while yet.
