is it possible to fit mud guards without taking the wheels off?  :undecided: not bought any yet, thinking of doing the job myself.

Just to confirm it’s mudflaps you are referring to. I fitted front and rears. Turning the front wheels gives sufficient access to fit them. I think the rears were too tight and I had to remove the wheels, but it might be possible with a small ratchet and bar.  No drilling necessary the holes are pre moulded and correspond with the arch liners.

If you’re not in a hurry for them I bought mine off Ali Express for about £20 and they were decent, still on a year later.  Just ensure they include fitting for a GTI as many of the others do not fit.

Fitted mud flaps today without taking the wheels off , no problems. Bought them from AliExpress for about £15 and they are a great fit. You get a torq and star/Philips driver (90 degree driver which allows you to remove and refit the screws).
