There certainly appears to be a large proportion of UK cars which just don’t get used. 

Mine has 56,000 miles and counting!

Some Geography on mileages for those interested from my records on UK cars against known identity numbers;

Lowest I'm aware of currently is 20miles with the most I've seen 73,543miles but splits are lining up as;

14no.     < 1,000miles.
25no.     < 5,000miles.
16no.     < 10,000miles.
21no.     < 20,000miles.
  9no.     < 30,000miles.
  2no.     < 40,000miles.
  3no.     < 50,000miles.
  1no.        70,000miles +     

91no.        Sub-Total.

Vast majority of these are checked within the last year in terms of updates.

Also have 12 no. known current numberplates but not included in above quantities as individual identity numbers not known yet. 10no. of these < 10,000miles and 2no. above.

Vast majority then are still under 10,000miles.

There certainly appears to be a large proportion of UK cars which just don’t get used.  Each to their own I guess but I bought mine to experience the joy of driving it whereas others appear to get their pleasure from just looking at them 🤷‍♂️  Anyway, where are you venturing to in Scotland?
