Cheers.i reckon it will be at least this time next year until the prices are even released then a 3-4 month wait, so by that time I will have had mine 2.5 years which is my usual change cycle anyway. I totally get the point about the initial hit of depreciation, but that's life, any car depreciates just some more than others.

Agreed, I get the new car enjoyment every 3 years with my company car and can agree there is something special about having it from brand new

This one might be for EVO but has anyone come across the above yet? I keep toying with changing my wheels but ideally would want a set that would transfer to the mk7.

Plus and lets be honest it would help soften the blow with the other half

Some magazine are saying the GTI Performance Pack Edition comes with 19" wheels  (but we'll have to wait to actually see if its true or an option like the MK6 R).
