its a 5 door mk3 1.4
on coilovers
need it tracking badly
pulling left steering wheel pointing right
any ideas
had it stuck on ramsp today trying to get it on at quickfit

Best place to take it will be somewhere that has the old dunlop tracking system (back street garage) this system will work on the lowest of cars because it doesnt have to hook over the wheel.

Save your money and do the string method. Mine needs doing too but feck am I paying some cowboy 50-80 notes to attempt it then tell me the car is too low/etc etc......... Look up the string method. Very easy to do, and very very accurate. Proffesional race outfits use this method most of the time too so thats good enough for me.

My dad has old fashioned tracking gear in Epsom if stuck, although you wont get round the back alley with your sump intact if super low

Did mine on the drive way. As long as the steering wheel is centred. Look at wheels adjust so they look about right. Then drive. Adjust accordingly. Only do quarter turns on the track rods. Got mine pretty perfect after about an hour.
