AARRHH, i remember the days when i had my 1.4 ryder,
spent nearly £2000 on it buying all the nice gti and vr6 bits for it.
Nice work, keep it up :smiley:
and later sold it with all that nice stuff on it for £250.

£2000! u must be mad!! only paid £400 for it, and probably £300 for parts, so far :L dont wanna spend much more!!
yeah but you're doing well on keeping costs down for now but its very easy to get carried away.  ooooo i just need this and then i'm done.. oh hang on, need one of them too, bored of this now, need that etc etc.

he didnt :/
someone offered me £600 for mine, was VERY tempted, but still need to save a LOT of money for new one, and cant be without a car through winter :/ so couldnt do it :(

haha because everyone calls me it!! :D
when im doin the car ive got a full face of makeup, and the sh!ttiest clothes youve ever seen, with crap everywhere, but still in barbie style :D haha

yeahh i knowww :/, really want a black mk2 gti though!! dont really like mk3s, but my first dub, and itll do for now, really wanted t get rid, but as u say, i know what works/doesnt work now, and will have to go through the same rubbish with the new one!! but while ive got this one, cheap insurance, can save for gti  :evil:

Black MK2 FTW!...... nah, stick your guns, make this into a nice motor enjoy it and by the time you're sick of it your GTI dream will hopefully become a reality
