my cars just gone into the garage to get the strut mounts done, i asked the bloke if he could drill out the wheel nut that i sheared off while he was at it and he told me that i would need a new hub and that its impossible to drill them out.... is that a load of bollocks or not? cause i was sure it should come out

Easyouts are great - used them a few times.... But tbh you can get away with drilling a hold and whopping a gurt self tapper in then using some wd40 or plusgas to free the rusty buts just unwind it....

you can drill them out. my dad did this last week. didnt even need a new hub.

If you take the brake disc off first,you'll have about 3-4mm of the bolt projecting, if you get some stillsons on that you'll probably be able to unwind it without any drilling (unless it sheared at the hub face and not the disc face?)
