I found a pretty decent guide to painting plastic parts, and although it's on another site I thought it might be useful for others - note this is not
my
guide, so please don't blame me if anything goes wrong when following it
If using metallic paint
- when you get to Stage 5, make sure to scroll down and read the first few comments underneath the article, as the process differs slightly.
