recently bort a mk4 1.8 t with 134k on the clock and full s/h,


the best mpg ive got so far is 30.0 mpg and that was on the motorway driving like miss daisy, i no my recirc valve is buggerd but ii dont no if this wiull make any diff? new ones on its way

what do everyone else seem to get?

I have a standard 1.8T and drive 12 miles to work and I get between 40 and 43 mpg everyday.  When I take it on the motorway for a run the worst i get is 36 mpg.  I dont drive like a tart but is still do about 80mph.  Its much better than I thought it would be.
