so how does the dsg work??

i have the tiptronic and flappy paddles on my smart with no clutch

is it similar?
is it worth getting over conventional manual?

DSG is faster than manual.
I like manual because i like to be in control and its more fun  :grin:

agree on the sound r32uk, but not much else has much more going for it, having tried both today.

I guess it boils down to personal taste. I tried the Gti and it was great... loved it!! Tried the R32 and just thought it was better.. :grin:

definalty the R32,   the running costs arent as much as you would believe, and £300/400 a year on tax..  its only £8 a week!!..  you could do an extra 1 hour overtime to cover it!!
