Started to get the car ready for its departure ie removing the OEM clear rear lights.
9,400 miles since delivery on 24th Oct 2022 so a little underused it's probably fair to say. Lease is until Oct '25 but dipping out early.
Will list some things in the for sale section including the OEM clear rear clusters.

How come you are exiting? What are you getting next?

Never did take to the car and the exit fee % has been halved by Arval so given ill escape a full service cost it seems a'relatively' logical decision. No firm decision made but looking at an LCI 340i this week. Nearly went for an A6 but missed the boat on the cheap lease offer
Awaiting: Mk8 GTI CS
2020: BMW 840 Gran Coupe
2017: Audi B9 S5 Coupe
2014: Mk7 Golf R manual

Finally got round to taking off the OEM clear light clusters ahead of the car being collected. Now the red ones are back on its definitely the best upgrade I did whilst having the car.

I fitted the R paddles to my Mk8. The steering wheel doesn’t need to come off but the airbag does need to come out. The only downside was the airbag warning light came on, even though I had disconnected the battery beforehand. @willni switched it off with VCDS. No other problems caused. The R paddles looked and felt oem. I thought they were a good job.

The R paddles cost circa £150 from Czechia. By the way I think the Leyo paddles look good too. 👍

I have a set of these VW OEM R paddles unused and boxed if anyone is interested drop me a DM
