Given the car a Christmas present - wash and wax. Nearly 15 years old now!

Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

MOT today (14 years old with 80,000 miles) they found the following problems

Nearside Front Upper Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated, anyone know how much to replace?

And longer term

Nearside Rear Suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened
Offside Rear Suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened
Rear Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened

What's the typical fix if I keep the car for another two years?

(1) Ignore and hope it passes next time
(2) Treat the surfaces
(3) Replace the components?

Thanks

Mot testers have to now note underbody rust. It's just surface rust from what I can see.
Ive seen much worse, even collapsed ones due to excess rust,

Ah I didn't know and yes it just on the surface for the moment, I think there will be other items which need doing before serious problem on the suspension arms.

Thank you

Had this rust starting my 2010 gti about 5 years ago. The rear suspension arms take a lot of hammer. The driver side is usually worse. Cleaned the surface with coarse sander paper, applied rust inhibitor (jenolite) and further sander paper and jenolite then 3 coats of black hammerite spray paint and finally waxoil I still had at the back of the garage from years ago!! Needed heating to allow it to be sprayed with an old multi-surface cleaner bottle. Small top up in a couple of areas last year. No comments from my MOT two week ago.
Had the front upper anti-roll bar joints replaced last year for about £100 I think.
